Silent Auction --

A silent auction featuring only one item will also take place just before and after the concert this year. The item is a child-sized customized, battery powered replica of a Ford Mustang, which has been refinished in the colors of the New York Yankees' white and blue pinstriped uniform and has on its hood not only the Yankee logo but, even more exciting, the signatures of many of the Yankee players.  This priceless souvenir is valued at $2,000.00 and will go the highest bidder at the finish of the auction at 6:15 p.m., November 22. Bidding will start at $400 and will go up in increments of at least $50.

Powered by an electric motor and large enough to seat two children, the Yankee car, donated by Riemann’s Auto Body Shop of White Plains, is modeled after a Ford Mustang and is painted in Yankee uniform colors of white with blue pin stripes and has been autographed on its hood by players on the current Yankee roster. A fan’s most magical fantasy, a unique and genuine Yankee memento, an exciting present for a child or grandchild – however you imagine it, it would be great fun to own and an exceptional way of giving support to Parkinson’s research.
